We are a lifestyle hotel company dedicated to consistently being best in class by delivering personalized experiences based on each guest’s distinct needs. Our culture is one of independent and spirited individuals who love what they do and share a desire to create a genuine environment where each person can truly be themselves. It’s important to know that we have 10 core values that we live by; we’ll expect that you will too.
You are the brains of the operation. You will strategically lead the revenue management processes and procedures to maximize hotel room revenue. You will accomplish this by managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls while developing, monitoring and adjusting sales and pricing strategies, analyzing demand factors, forecasting, competitive analysis, and maintaining distribution channel data integrity. Although not a sales person by title, you will spend much of your day selling rate recommendations to the brand leaders, sales directors and general managers who must adopt these pricing strategies before they can impact revenue.
You will have the skills and knowledge to achieve the goal of maximizing hotel revenue- develop the most effective rates and strategies to increase revenue, and motivate corporate executives and brand managers to implement those rate and strategy recommendations. You are a visionary and corporate change agent who relies on innovative thinking to develop and implement strategies to increase brand profitability. You will have a proven property management background and understand the unique characteristics of the DC hotel market. You are a proven strategic thinker, have great interpersonal skills and are able to work in a multi-property capacity. You’ll be able to use the tools of our trade: computers, databases, and property management systems. You won’t be afraid to get your hands dirty for the good of the team, and above all, you’ll deliver results. One more thing-we are an equal opportunity employer. We actively respect the right of any qualified individual who performs to Modus standards to work. Discrimination based on gender, age, race, religion, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic not related to performance, ability or attitude protected by state or federal law, is stupid, disrespectful, bad business and won’t be tolerated. It’s also illegal.
