Who is going to get this job

  • You’ve held a senior leadership role (Hotel Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager - preferred) at a hotel for at least three years.
  • You are highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the lifestyle hotel industry. At least 2 years of senior leadership experience at a lifestyle hotel is a must.
  • You have a track record of achieving and maintaining superior balanced scorecard results, and are able to articulate the underlying strategies that led to your achievements.
  • You keep an eye on the big picture, creating a weekly game plan to ensure that you can accomplish the “little things” while making progress on your big goals.
  • You are aware of current practices and trends in the industry, and plan 6-12 months in advance to ensure success over time.
  • You have a knack for finding the best solution to unclear situations, issues and problems, reflecting upon your experience to determine numerous future possibilities and outcomes.
  • You have a warm, welcoming demeanor that projects hospitality. You set the tone in stressful situations by responding in a cool, calm, and collected way.
  • You are a fantastic communicator who is able to clearly articulate your ideas and back those ideas up with data.
  • You can effectively divide, assign, and delegate work to achieve business objectives and develop team members’ skills.
  • You are a self-improver who develops a variety of approaches and communication techniques tailored to each situation.
  • You are able to create and foster a true learning environment, where growth at all levels is encouraged.
